Wild Rose Casino & Resorts in Jefferson is located an hour northwest of Des Moines on US Highway 30 & Highway 4 .

This $40-million gaming resort in Jefferson was approved by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission on June 12, 2014. A formal groundbreaking ceremony followed soon afterwards on June 30, 2014. A soft opening was July 14 with the official grand opening August 7.
